Soy Connection is a collaboration of health,nutrition and food industry experts with U.S.soybean farmers to educate on the 新金莎投注s of U.S.-grown soy,including heart-healthy soybean oil and soyfoods.
Soy Connection works with independent researchers affiliated with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and academic institutions to conduct research on health and nutrition related to soy.Soybean growers take pride in producing one of the healthiestcrops in the world.
We are a leading educator on U.S.-grown,heart-healthy soybean oil and protein for human use.Through science-based resources,we dispel myths on soy consumption,offer educational materials and downloads,and provide continuing education credits (CPE) for health professionals.We also share information,case studies and the latest consumer research on how sourcing U.S.-grown soybean oil can improve food companies' product lines from functionality,sales and sustainability standpoints.

About the USB and the Soy Checkoff
USB,created by the Farm Bill of 1990 to manage and direct the National Soybean Checkoff,is dedicated to spreading knowledge and understanding of the soybean.
The checkoff invests in research,promotion,marketing and commercialization programs to help expand and develop markets for U.S.soybeans.As part of the checkoff program,every soybean farmer contributes 0.5 percent of the market price for each bushelsold.These funds are used at the state level by qualified state soybean boards (QSSBs) and nationally by USB to support the goals of U.S.soybean farmers in six main areas: animal utilization,industrial utilization,human utilization,supply,industryrelations and market access.
The 73 farmer-directors of USB oversee the investments of the soy checkoff to maximize profit opportunities for all U.S.soybean farmers.These volunteers invest and leverage checkoff funds to increase the value of U.S.soy meal and oil,to ensure U.S.soybean farmers and their customers have the freedom and infrastructure to operate,and to meet the needs of U.S.soy's customers.
As stipulated in the federal Soybean Promotion,Research and Consumer Information Act,the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service has oversight responsibilities for USB and the soy checkoff.
